My boyfriend and I were finally able to watch this film last Saturday at Robinson’s Metro East after my almost week-long sick leave..

Robert Langdon, a famed symbologist, gets entangled in a case involving the murdered curator at the Louvre. With the victim’s granddaughter Sophie Neveu, a police cryptologist, he tries to work out the clues left behind and unveils a series of stunning revelations concealed in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci. With their own careers and very lives at stake, the pair embarks on a chase through Paris, London and Scotland on the trail of the murderer and a covert society that has been guarding the ancient secret since the days of Christ.

Comments: I’ve read the book, and so it’s quite predictable what will happen in the movie. I’m just curious of how the characters and scenes would look like. But it’s indeed controversial, since it’s still being criticized on TV and in churches. Good job to the staff and crew for being able to portray this on the big screen. Nice movie overall, though not that great.

From Japan to Alaska and back to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the two Teams traded positions as they had throughout the Race until BJ pulled ahead of Eric at the final Roadblock to score his Team a victory. After a series of navigational woes, dating couple Ray & Yolanda finished a distant third.

Comments: I’m satisfied overall in the results, though I hoped that Terry Deitz would win as Sole Survivor. Great season! Until next season of my fave reality shows..

Preparing for Mother’s Day0

It’s still five days before we celebrate Mother’s Day, yet my sisters and I are already thinking of what to give her on that day. Moreover, officers of ME (Marriage Encounter), an organization for married couples where my parents are members, are having a program on that day, and the children are to write individual letters stating why we are lucky to be children of our moms. Interesting huh? But I haven’t started writing yet..

In addition, we have to give a gift and explain to everyone why we gave her such. It’s still a secret of course, and my sisters and I still have until Friday to get it done (since I have no work on weekends). I just hope it will turn out well and my mom would like it..

Missing My Angel..0

It’s been four days already since my boyfriend and I last saw each other. We have a gap lately but then I already miss him..

I can’t count the number of times we had a misunderstanding or I got mad at him since the first time we became "us" almost 7 years ago. But despite all that, I never considered any guy to be that close to me except him. I’ll always consider him my soul mate and someone very special to me. I guess he’s the only guy who was able to stand up to my insanity and childishness at times..

I hope we see each other very soon..*sigh*
