Having your personal space at a certain time is really something. But then, at work, I was so pissed when that space is invaded. To think there are other cubes to occupy and working PCs to use, so what’s the excuse for invading my cube? I’m already pissed for being late and then this? Argh!!
In addition, the PCs overheat in the afternoon when used during the previous shift. It might malfunction and totally give in any minute. How about the files I keep there??
It’s okay if the other machines are not functioning well. Or there are no vacant cubes. I’m not selfish or anything. It’s just a matter of respect - for one’s time, space, privacy and resources.
It’s really hard to get along with other people and teach "adults" some manners..

I watched "Eight Below" at Blue Wave at Marquinton last Saturday afternoon, together with my boyfriend and two sisters..:)
Jerry Shepard, his best friend Cooper, and a rugged American geologist are forced to leave behind their team of beloved sled dogs due to a sudden accident and perilous weather conditions in Antarctica. During the harsh, Antarctic winter, the dogs must struggle for survival alone in the intense frozen wilderness for over 6 months until the adventurers can mount a rescue mission.
Comments: I so love the dogs in this film! The Siberian Huskies are very smart and well-trained. It even made my sister, Jezzy, cry in one of the scenes. I definitely enjoyed this one and it endeared me more to dogs. Plus Paul Walker is also very effective in this film. Watch it!

Finally, after a year of waiting, seems like our company will push through with the much-awaited Summer Outing. After suspending the company summer outing last year (due to a big company blow - Pattern 594 Crisis), the email announcement has been sent for this year. Yey!
And the destination for this year’s Summer Outing? Punta Fuego!
Not just one, but two Punta Fuego properties – Terrazas and Club Punta Fuego. Just seen the websites and sample pictures and we’re pretty excited already. Though it’s set for next month, we can’t wait!

Here’s another nice and upbeat Craig David song, from his latest album, “The Story Goes…” Enjoy!
Do You Believe In Love
Craig David
Mmmmm no ohhh ah yeah
Just one day
If I could hold you in my arms
Close to my heart where you belong
Love of my life you really are
Still be showering you with kisses like snow in winter
Remember back in the day we were like best of friends
But we were falling in love we never could pretend
Night after night we used to talk about me and you
The things we’d do together forever?
Do you believe in love?
And the promise that it brings
That you’ll never grow apart
Well that’s what she said to me
Why did you have to go?
We were inseparable
You and me will always be together for eternity
Just one day
If I could touch your face again
Words can’t describe how I’m feeling
If I could turn back the hands of time
I’d still be holding on wishes that you left behind
Remember moments when there was nothing better than
A stroll in the park walking hand in hand
I’ll never forget the times we talked about me and you
The things we do together forever
Do you believe in love?
And the promise that it brings
That you’ll never grow apart
Well that’s what she said to me
Why did you have to go?
We were inseparable
You and me will always be together for eternity
The words you said to me before you slipped away
Are still with me girl to this very day yeah
In everything I do to everything I say
You’ll always be the sunshine in my life
And yes I believe in love
Do you believe in love?
And the promise that it brings
That you’ll never grow apart
Well that’s what she said to me
Why did you have to go?
We were inseparable
You and me will always be together for eternity

A kiss is just a kiss ’til you find the one you love. A hug is just a hug ‘til it’s the one you’re thinking of. A dream is just a dream ‘til you make it come true. Love is just a word ‘til it’s proven to you..
Well, it’s definitely proven to me!
Happy 8th Monthsary my Angel! I love you!

I’ll be having my vacation again for this year’s observation of the Holy Week. I try to make sure that I spend time with my family during these times so we may continue to stay together, and keeping up with our beliefs and customs.
This year, we plan to go to our province in Batangas until Thursday or Friday. We usually go to Pangasinan or Baguio during the previous years. Due to cost cutting on our travel expenses, we settled to our province instead. We’ll probably spend the rest of the Holy Week at home.
I’m actually thinking of reporting for my shift on Saturday even though I already filed a leave on that day, since we have no plans on Saturday. Maybe make the most out of my last shifting stint (I’ll be on daily sked starting on Monday :’( *sniff*).
Still thinking of what particular thing I’ll give up for one day (a variation of "fasting"), aside from eating meat, of course. What is it that I usually enjoy doing? Hmn.. any ideas?

Ups. PBBCE has already ended, and Keanna Reeves ended as the first Celebrity Big Winner. Fair enough.. though I really rooted for John Prats, hehe.
Downs.
We moved down this week from the 23rd floor to the 14th floor to our new cubes. Much colder environment, more crowded (since the other teams are also located there) and more restricted environment (with the watchful eye of the boss and video cameras on the ceiling, hehe). So much for a carefree environment..
Changes. Angelo’s mom came home from Hong Kong last weekend. I’m happy for Angelo because they only spend time with their mom once (for a few weeks) every two years. But since he has to accompany his mom to DFA and other places, we seldom see each other lately. Just every time he’s going to fetch me from work every other day. Unlike before, he takes me to work then fetches me at the end of my shift. And I miss that already..
Another two weeks before everything goes back to normal..

Just found this song nice. Especially for senti soundtrip or just soothing music. Enjoy!
Invincible
Christian Bautista
I don’t have nerves of steel
I have a heart that feels
I may have cried a million
tears but I won’t drown
I let myself unfold
Gave you my hand to hold
You took me beyond where
I could see
And then you let go of me. .
[Chorus]:
I was damaged by the fall
Got the wind knocked out of me
To be standing here at all
I must be invincible
I thought that I would break
But now I have come to see
Something strong and beautiful
Inside of me
I must be invincible…
I don’t have X-ray eyes
Don’t have a heart so wise
How could I have known
you’d let me down
If I had known that then
my eyes are wide open
I still believe I would’ve missed it
[Repeat Chorus]
Ahh. . . it’s a blessing and a curse
Ahh. . . But you find out
what you’re worth
[Repeat Chorus]
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…
I must be invincible…

Potchi came to us about 2 years ago. He was a mix of breeds, half-Chow Chow and half-Japanese Spitz. He was given by one of my dad’s friend who owns some dogs. He was still a puppy back then, about two months old. He has nice, thick fur and a mix of white and brown in color.
Why name him Potchi? Well, we can’t think of any suitable name for him at that time. We named our previous dogs before from cartoon characters. But this time, from food, I guess.
We took care of him and tried to stand his wails during the first few nights. We fed him and played with him. Eventually, he grew but not too large. He became more stubborn, messy and noisy at the same time. My mom, who was not very fond of dogs, began to get irritated with him.
My dad transferred him to another place in the house. At first he stayed on our terrace, then by our gate, and then downstairs near our other dog, Tobey (a German Shepherd). Lastly, he was placed at our backyard.
How I pity him being placed there, but my mom can’t stand his mess. In addition to that, he’s very brave that he tends to bark and threaten to bite people he doesn’t know. When he was placed in our terrace and got free from the rope tied on his dog collar, he would hide behind our plants and knock them down, which my mom didn’t like. She threatened to give him away, but we just pleaded because we like the dog very much.
He get to stay with us until my mom decided to have him until our maid leaves, since she was able to take care of him alongside her chores. As much as we wanted to really take care of him, my mom doesn’t approve of him staying in our terrace, where he’s much comfortable being taken cared of.
And yesterday morning when I got home from work, I found Potchi no longer on our backyard. My dad took him and gave him to one of his clients to be taken cared of. I was really sad because we really love him and he’s been a part of our family already. But we have no choice but to follow my mom..
To his new master, I hope he takes good care of him. I will truly miss him even if he has been with us for only about two years. Potchi, ’til then..
