One of my cousins, Cyronn, graduated today from high school. He’s the third one among us cousins from my mother’s side to finish high school. Well, I’m the eldest among us cousins, and my sister Jezzy being the second. Too bad we can’t congratulate him personally because their family is currently living in Mindanao.
My other cousin, John, who lives in Batangas, will be graduating this year from high school. If we’ll push through spending the Holy Week in Batangas, maybe we can celebrate his graduation there and have a swim on a near beach..
Finally, my youngest sister Jorica will be graduating from grade school this coming month. At long last, my parents are done with grade school expenses. But still a long way to go before all my sisters finish their studies. I just hope I could help them accomplish that..
Anyways, I remember the four graduations I had, since pre-school until college. It feels good to remember those times, especially the last two. All those hardships I’ve been through studying winds down to a simple yet meaningful two-hour graduation ceremony. But it felt rewarding, and it makes me smile whenever I remember those days..
Next year, my other sister Janine will be graduating from high school, and will also be off to college the following school year. Wow, how time flies so fast..
But the best thing about graduation is seeing all our efforts in studying get paid off in that grand occasion, and having the opportunity to thank our parents for the education that no one can take away, and offer to them our success.

This is for the PBBCE addicts right now, especially Bianca and Zanjoe’s "loveteam" inside the PBB house. Here’s the link to the full 5-minute (approximately) hug between the two (partly aired during the Primetime edition a while ago). Enjoy! *blush*

Here’s another single from the "most celebrated PBB housemate". Who else, but Sam Milby! Hehe.. (and the addiction continues.. :p) This song is also featured in their recent Valentine movie "Close To You" (where a nice, full music video of this song is shown). This song is also included in his self-titled debut album. This is his 3rd or 4th single already. Enjoy!
This I Swear
Sam Milby
I’ll be true to you
And everything I’ll do
Will always be for you
I hope you don’t mind
I’ll share my feelings
Feelings for you
The first time I saw you
I knew that you’re the one
That I’ll be waiting here for all this time
[Chorus]:
Coz I’ll be close to you
No matter where you are
And I’ll be close to you
And this I swear
And this I swear is true
My hand in my heart
I promise you
My love is for you
And baby, conflicts may arise
But I’ll be right here waiting for you
And I’ll stand with you
Until the end of time
And I’ll be waiting here
If you would say goodbye
Coz I’ll be close to you
No matter where you are
And I’ll be close to you
And this I swear
And this I swear is true
[Bridge]:
And I’ll never ever say goodbye
I don’t know why but i’m willing to try
This lonely heart belongs to you
Coz I’ll be close to you
No matter where you are
And I’ll be close to you
And this I swear
And this I swear is true
Coz I’ll be close to you
No matter where you are
And I’ll be close to you
And this I swear
And this I swear is true

Love isn’t when you can’t sleep, it’s when you want to keep your eyes open. Love isn’t when you keep holding on, it’s when you learn to let go. Love isn’t when you kill yourself with jealousy, it’s when you understand. Love isn’t when you fall for someone, it’s when you catch that person when he falls. Love isn’t when you see him everywhere, it’s when you close your eyes and he’s still there. Love isn’t when you tell him what you feel, it’s when you give up everything for his sake. And love isn’t when you think you were blind, it’s when you know that you are wrong but you didn’t mind..
Happy 7th Monthsary my Angel! I love you!

Came to office early today for our team meeting. It took almost 2 hours to finish.. But what’s good about it is we get to have a dinner out, which is our boss’s treat. Finally, after three months, we get to eat again as a team (separately from other teams).
We ate at Dencio’s Eastwood, and I’m so full afterwards, hehe. ‘Til next dine-out (or lunchout)!

We all want to fall in love. Why?
Because that experience makes us feel completely alive, where every sense is heightened, and every emotion is magnified. Our everyday reality is shattered and we are flung into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, or an afternoon, but that doesn’t diminish its value, because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives.

Kinda bored this past week. Everyday’s almost the same (I mean, every other day coz of my shifting sked) since I got back from Baguio with my family. I must say, it’s driving me nuts! I just immerse myself lately with watching DVD at home and movie files in the office, reality TV shows, and that usual sleep-eat thing. Ugh!
Waaah!!! I want my life back!! How I wish I could have a vacation, a really long one. That would be nice.. But for now, I’m still stuck at work. Hmn.. (patience, patience..)
Good thing my boyfriend’s keeping me company.. and I have some things already to look forward to this coming weeks. I wish time flies a little faster this time..

This is probably one of the most talked-about movie today. Just watched this on DVD with my family..
In the summer of 1963, a ranch-hand and a cowboy meet on a mountain range. There in the Wyoming and Texas landscapes, a lasting relationship begins…one that endures the complexities and rapture of love through time.
CTC Review: It’s a summer romance unlike any other, blooming between two cowboys on the rustic slopes of Wyoming. Ennis and Jack seem fated to turn to each other with nothing to do all season except herd the grazing sheep, look out for preying wolves, and eat canned beans each mealtime. The relationship is one of denial at first; "I am not queer," they both clarify. They beat up one another before parting, as if to seal that declaration of machismo.
Ang Lee’s direction is deceptively simple. You sit there about to yawn and then things pick up as the boys become men and build families, getting on with their lives. When four years later they plan a tryst, their passionate welcome kiss is as unexpected for us as it is for Ennis’s wife. They start exchanging looks pregnant with desire, and you know your seat will be warm until the end credits.
Brokeback Mountain spans a lifetime of repression for Ennis and Jack. Heath Ledger chews his words like he does his character Ennis’s feelings, reluctant to go for that which his heart most wants, settling for the sporadic fishing trips with Jack. Jake Gyllenhaal as Jack is the more aggressive of the two, wanting to settle down in a quiet cabin somewhere. Both do not age much even as the story moves a couple of decades forward. The teen queens in Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway fade in your head as they play the baffled wives here, both mature roles that they unnervingly nail down.
Brokeback is a heartbreaking and unusual love story that many may own regardless of gender. Truly, love is a force of nature.
Comments: We were quite surprised to know that the theme of this movie evolves around two guys who portray the rule of cowboys but turned out to be gay. Even if we admit it or not, this is still a sensitive topic until today. The love scenes are still uncomfortable to watch and the idea is still bizarre. But the portayal of the lead actors, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, are very good. They have a pretty good chance at the 2006 Oscar Awards scheduled tomorrow..;)

Here’s another nice song from Simple Plan, and I can relate to the title of the song coz I need one badly.. :p
Vacation
Simple Plan
i know a girl who’s obsessed with a guy
she talks for hours and still tomorrow
she’ll call again and when he thinks that this could be the end,
she calls again
at six in the morning she waits at the door
he tells her to leave but still tomorrow she’ll be there again
she won’t let go
cant you just go somewhere on vacation?
i could book your flight
and pack your bags
if you want
a one way ticket out of my life
watching you fly away
i never liked you
she dosent care if he tries to ignore
he runs away but still she follows
she’ll try again
she likes to think she’ll get him in the end
yeah
cant you just go somewhere on vacation?
i could book your flight
and pack your bags
if you want
a one way ticket out of my life
watching you fly away
i never liked you
i never wanted you
i never liked you
i never wanted you, whoa
cant you just go somewhere on vacation?
i could book your flight
and pack your bags
if you want
a one way ticket out of my life
watching you fly away
i never liked you
i never wanted you
i never liked you
i’m not in love with you
