Here’s a few reasons why guys like girls (as admitted by guys):

1. They will always smell good even if it’s just shampoo
2. The way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulder
3. How cute they look when they sleep
4. The ease in which they fit into our arms
5. The way they kiss you and all of a sudden everything is right in the world
6. How cute they are when they eat
7. The way they take hours to get dressed but in the end makes it all worth while
8. Because they are always warm even when its minus 30 outside
9. The way they look good no matter what they wear
10. The way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she’s the most beautiful thing on this earth
11. How cute they are when they argue
12. The way her hand always finds yours
13. The way they smile
14. The way you feel when you see their name on the call ID after you just had a big fight
15. The way she says "let’s not fight anymore" even though you know that an hour later you will be arguing about something
16. The way they kiss when you do something nice for them
17. The way they kiss you when you say "I love you"
18. Actually … just the way they kiss you…
19. The way they fall into your arms when they cry
20. Then the way they apologize for crying over something that silly
21. The way they hit you and expect it to hurt
22. Then the way they apologize when it does hurt (even though we don’t admit it)!
23. The way they say "I miss you"
24. The way you miss them
25. The way their tears make you want to change the world so that it doesn’t hurt her anymore…

Yet regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them … it matters not. Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. When you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound, you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhythmic beatings of her very heart. We love them for a million reasons, no paper would do it justice. It is a thing not of the mind but of the heart.

The Missing Files0

What would be nicer than to find out, after just a shift’s worth of absence, that your DSL machine’s whole partitioned drive full of your files (including pics, software installers, tools, mails, documents, and thousands of MP3s) are all gone, nadah, zilch!

In times like these, what will you do?

a. Go Berserk (OMG! I spent years to hunt all those MP3s!)
b. Cry your heart out (How could this happen to me??)
c. Hunt down your files (They’re here somewhere..??)
d. Suspect everyone of deleting them (Did you do it?! Did you?!)
e. Just replace them (There’s nothing I can do anyway)

Take your pick..

What did I do? Poor me, starting from scratch again.. (and searching for copies of them) :’(

Mixed Emotions0

What I feel at the moment.. a mixture of emotions..

Uneasy. I wasn’t able to text my boyfriend immediately earlier today due to prepaid load expiration. He might be disappointed or something..

Anxious. Year-end evaluation will be just a few hours to go. Hope I did just fine overall..

Eager. At the end of my shift: Get home early, meet my boyfriend early, to sleep early and wake up early..;)

Excited. The BSB concert will be on tomorrow night.. Can’t wait!

Sleepy. Normal for nightshifters like me..

Sneak Preview of “The Da Vinci Code”0

Okay, just saw the first full-length trailer of "The Da Vinci Code". Just came across it while browsing out of curiosity.. And all I can say is.. Wow! I’m so eager right now to watch it..

I’m not yet through reading the book yet. I’m still at Chapter 72, I think. And seeing the the actors portraying the characters of this best-selling novel (Tom Hanks in the lead), I’m more intrigued..

Why not? I mean, aside from this being a thrilling novel, it’s also very controversial, indeed, as it touches on the very sensitive topic of religion. I say Dan Brown is a genius..

It’s slated to be shown on May 19, 2006 worldwide. Four more months to go..

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe0

Together with my family, we watched "The Chronicles of Narnia" at Blue Wave at Marquinton last night.

Lucy, Peter, Edmund, and Susan Pevensie discover an enchanted wardrobe hidden in one the rooms of an old professor’s country home. But beyond the wardrobe lies more enchantment, they discover as they are whisked out of World War II London into the parallel universe called Narnia. Under the guidance of a mythical lion king named Aslan, the four siblings engage in an epic battle against the White Witch Jadis, who has put Narnia through a hundred years of winter.

Inside the Chronicles

Author C.S. Lewis first published The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in 1950, scarcely five years after the conclusion of the Second World War. His tale of four siblings "who were sent away from London during the war because of the air-raids," uses the grim reality the world had just endured as the point of departure for a profound tale of good’s triumph over evil in a magical world filled with imagination and wonder.

The story follows the exploits of the four Pevensie siblings-Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter-who enter the world of Narnia through the back of a magical wardrobe while playing a game of "hide and seek" in the rural country home of an elderly professor. There they discover an extraordinary land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs, and giants. The evil White Witch Jadis, however, has cursed the once-charming and peaceful land with eternal winter. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the lion Aslan, the children fight to overcome the White Witch’s powerful hold over Narnia in a spectacular climactic battle that will free Narnia from her icy spell forever.

Comments: I think the movie was great. My mom even find it easier to understand compared to Harry Potter. It’s even comparable to The Lord of the Rings, aside from the same location of the battle scene, which was also filmed in New Zealand. I never read the book, nor saw the play, but I think it has a great story and entertaining, indeed. The follow-ups of this movie are surely to watch out for..
