I dunno what category to put this into, but anyways, this is my last post for the month, haha! And people celebrate Halloween today.
We’re going to the province tomorrow to spend All Saint’s Day with some of our relatives. A day off and a time to travel for a while..
Next big celebration: Christmas! It’s only less than 2 months away..

My sister, Jezzy, and I went to UP Diliman yesterday. After so many months that I’ve never been there, I’m finally back.. The agenda for coming over? Check out the requirements for my sister’s plan of transferring there from UP Baguio.
We arrived at 11am. An hour to go before Lunch Break, so we hurried to College of Home Economics (CHE) building to check out the course requirements and oultine of her preffered courses. First stop: Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (HRIM). This is my sister’s first choice course there. After asking for directions from the people there, we finally reached the office. The people are friendly and we immediately got what we wanted.
Next stop: Student Records Office for the guidelines on how to tranfer and other requirements. It turned out it’s all posted on the bulletin board so we just copied the information we need. While my sister’s copying the guidelines, I went to the office of Department of Food Technology (my sis wants courses related to food, wehehe..)
Last stop: The College of Engineering building. My home for the last 2 years of my college days. We headed straight at the Admin office to get my diploma. At long last, I can officially call myself a UP Graduate, hehe.
After all that tiring walk, my sister and I went home to have our lunch, watch the via satellite telecast of Survivor and get ready for our malling ang movie watching.
It’s nice to be back in my Alma Mater. Though I don’t know when I’ll be back again..

This is one of those times when I can’t do anything but face my responsibilities, and give up the little things that mean more important sooner or later..
I can’t count the number of times I wasn’t able to spend time with my family on special occasions. One of them is almost spending Christmas Eve at work. Good thing one of my officemates agreed to change shift with me.. I won’t forgive myself if I won’t be able to spend time with them.
Today is another one of those times when I had to sacrifice special occasions with my family, to go to work. Our family is supposed to go to one of our relatives’ house blessing, and birthday of my second cousin. Invitations have been sent out a week ago. And since our instructor for the Microsoft Training is out of the country for two Saturdays, we don’t have trainings on those days. So I am available to attend on that occasion.
A day before that said event, I was informed that one of my officemates, who was supposed to be on shift the next day,cannot report to work the following day. She’s not feeling well, so I had to report to work for her.
I won’t lie that I felt bad because of this. I missed a lot of occasions with my family just to report to work. It saddens me whenever I look at the pictures taken during those occasions, where I’m the only one missing.. and stuck in the office. 
I can’t wait to finally have a vacation and spend time with my family.. One more month to go..
I think I’m becoming an Erik Santos fan myself.. hehe. Anyways, here’s another very nice love song from the local Pop prince.. Enjoy!

- the acquisition of literature that is already out of print in the Philippines
- the construction of our own small headquarters in the UP campus
- the organization of lectures on reading and literature
- and other various noteworthy literary causes (i.e. book launchings, etc.)

This is a very nice and touching story to inspire us..
Each year he sent her roses,
and the note would always say,
"I love you even more this year,
than last year on this day.
My love for you will always grow,
with every passing year."
She knew this was the last time
that the roses would appear.
She thought, he ordered roses
in advance before this day.
Her loving husband did not know,
that he would pass away.
He always liked to do things early,
way before the time.
Then, if he got too busy,
everything would work out fine.
She trimmed the stems and
placed them in a very special vase.
Then, sat the vase beside
the portrait of his smiling face.
She would sit for hours,
In her husband’s favorite chair.
While staring at his picture,
and the roses sitting there.

There also is another thing,
that I think you should know,
He wrote a special little card…
he did this years ago.

that he’s no longer here,
that’s the card that should be sent to you
the following year."
She thanked him and hung up the phone,
her tears now flowing hard.
Her fingers shaking,
as she slowly reached to get the card.
Inside the card,
she saw that he had written her a note.
Then, as she stared in total silence,
this is what he wrote…
"Hello my love, I know it’s been a year
since I’ve been gone.
I hope it hasn’t been too hard for you to overcome.
I know it must be lonely,
and the pain is very real.
Or if it was the other way,
I know how I would feel.
The love we shared made everything
so beautiful in life.
I loved you more than words can say,
you were the perfect wife.
You were my friend and lover,
you fulfilled my every need.
I know it’s only been a year,
but please try not to grieve.

even when you shed your tears.
That is why the roses will be sent to you for years.

It’s SemBreak finally! And my sister Jezzy finally went home last night from Baguio to spend her Semestral break with us..
Another riot month awaits us as my sister stays with us at home for her vacation. Well, in a good way of course.. 
The house will be noisier again and we finally have our cook back, right Jez?
And this time, finally, she bought some "pasalubong" for us. Yup, that’s right.
