Right now, my head really hurts.. I had a lot of tasks today and I really tried finishing all of them. In addition, we also have a meeting. And I also have a cold, so I’m really not feeling well..
I just dropped by to update this blog of mine. Nothing new lately..

It’s been 23 years.. now, my parents are celebrating their anniversary. And I’m a living proof how they survived all those years..
As I recall it, my mom and dad have known each other and been together since their college days. I’m not sure if they knew each other before that, or exactly how they met and stuff. They just, out of nowhere, reminisce about their college days, the places they used to go to whenever we pass by them along the way while travelling.
Life is not that easy for my mom and dad. A few days after their wedding, my dad left for Saudi to work. He learned then that my mom is pregnant (and I’m the one inside :D). I’m not sure if my dad actually saw me when my mom gave birth to me. When I look at the photo albums at home, I was almost one-year old when my dad came home. It was only then that I got baptized, on Christmas Day, I think. A few days before my first birthday.
I’m not sure how many times he went back and forth to Saudi. I grew up writing letters to my dad when I was in pre-school. I would cry whenever he arrives from the airport, because I’m not used to seeing him around.
I know my mom missed him so much, especially since I was an only child back then. My mom would say I’m her source of strength (awww.. :’< ) during those times that my dad was not around. She actually told everyone this during her speech on my debut party.. But despite that, when my dad came home and decided to stay here for good, they worked things out, even when life is hard.
As my sisters came into the world one by one, I witnessed how my parents worked together to provide all the things we need. Even if we’re not that wealthy, they made sure that we could enjoy and have the simple pleasures and luxuries in life.
My parents are really funny whenever they joke around with each other. And dad’s impersonating a gay person, or how my mom "scolds" at my dad when he sleeps carelessly.. I guess I’m really lucky because my parents kept our family intact all these years..
I don’t know how exactly their love story goes. All I know is that they stood by each other no matter how hard life is..
Happy 23rd Anniversary Mama and Papa!!!
I love you both!

A nice song by the Backstreet Boys, telling us that despite being different and unique, we are all beautiful .. Makes me feel special everytime I listen to it.. *wink*
What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)
Backstreet Boys
You don’t run with the crowd
You go your own way
You don’t play after dark
You light up my day
Got your own kind of style
That sets you apart
Baby, that’s why you captured my heart
I know sometimes you feel like you don’t fit in
And this world doesn’t know what you have within
When I look at you, I see something rare
A rose that can grow anywhere (grow anywhere)
And there’s no one I know that can compare
What makes you different, (alright) makes you beautiful (alright)
What’s there inside you, (alright) shines through to me
In your eyes I see, all the love I’ll ever need
You’re all I need, oh girl
What makes you different, makes you beautiful to me
Hey, yeah yeah yeah
You got something so real
You touched me so deep (touched me so deep)
See material things
Don’t matter to me
So come as you are
You’ve got nothing to prove
You won me with all that you do
And I wanna take this chance to say to you
What makes you different, (alright, yeah yeah) makes you beautiful (alright)
What’s there inside you, (alright) shines through to me
In your eyes I see, all the love I’ll ever need
You’re all I need, oh girl
What makes you different, makes you beautiful
You don’t know (you don’t know) how you touched my life (touched my life)
Oh in so many ways (so many ways) I just can’t describe
You taught me what love is supposed to be
You saw the little things that make you beautiful to me (so beautiful)
Oh yeah, yeah
What makes you,
What makes you different, (what makes) makes you beautiful (to me)
What’s there inside you, (there shines) shines through to me
In your eyes I see, all the love I’ll ever need
You’re all I need, oh girl
What makes you different, makes you beautiful to me
Everything you do is beautiful (so beautiful)
Love you give shines right through me (shines right through to me)
Everything you do is beautiful (ooh, ooh ooh ooh oh)
Oh, you’re beautiful to me (to me)

As promised, here are some of the details regarding our advanced celebration of Father’s Day and my mom’s birthday last night..
My dad, together with my two sisters, fetched me yesterday in the office after my training and their shopping for my mom’s present. My mom and other sister, Jezzy, were left in the mall. They went to Max’s in Robinson’s Metro East and reserved seats for us, and ordered food as well, while we are on our way there. It was quite traffic so my dad tried to find another route. I already have a mild headache yesterday when they fetched me, and tried to keep my eyes shut and rest my head against the seat, hoping to ease the pain.
We arrived in Robinson’s Metro East and headed straight to Max’s, located at the third floor. While making our way there, we heard a band playing at the fountain area, and swarms of people watching them from above. It turns out that 6 Cycle Mind’s performing. Anyways, we found my mom and sister seated already inside Max’s, and we joined them in the table good enough for the six of us. My dad left for a while again to withdraw some cash and buy medicine, including one for my headache. While waiting for our food, we chatted and for a while. My dad came back just in time, as the food was served. We enjoyed our dinner, and I gave my share in the bill (it’s more than 5 percent, that’s for sure).
After dinner, we headed to the ground floor to the Sun Shop. I claimed my new cellphone, an addition to my Sony Ericsson phone. I just wanted another phone, together with a new SIM. It took quite long for the attendant to make an account for me, so my folks and sisters waited for me inside the shop also.
Right after I claimed my phone, we headed to the cinemas located on the fourth floor. My mom only has enough budget for the movies, so when we found out the fee is quite off her budget, we decided to transfer to Sta. Lucia and watch a movie there. We were not able to get inside the cinema immediatley, because the cashier won’t allow my youngest sister to watch the movie, because it’s rated PG-13, and my sister’s only 10 years old, turning 11 next month. I think we fell in line to buy tickets four times, because of that incident. We can’t decide what to watch.
In the end, we were separated into two groups. Me and my two sisters, Jezzy and Janine, watched the original movie we are supposed to watch, while my mom and dad and my youngest sister, Rica, watched another movie. We just met in the van right after the movies. My mom just gave us the keys so whoever finishes first can get inside. Our group finished first, and we went home afterwards when we’re complete.
Hmn.. I’m about to go home in a while. I plan to buy a cake for my mom.. I’m a bit broke because of so many expenses that we have this past week. I just wish my mom a Happy Birthday and my dad a Happy Father’s Day. God knows how much I love them both..

Since my sister, Jezzy, went home from Baguio and will be staying only until Sunday afternoon, my family decided that we celebrate Father’s Day, as well as my mother’s birthday tonight, instead of tomorrow, June 19..
Just finished the Microsoft Training. I’m still in the office, waiting for my dad to fetch me. They’re in the mall right now and doing some shopping, while waiting for me to finish my training.. I think they’re on their way now here in the office..
When we get ther in the mall, I’ll be claiming my new cellphone from Sun Cellular. I applied for a plan 350 there, by the way. Finally, after more than two weeks of waiting, it’s finally approved and I just received a call from them last Thursday.
We’ll be having dinner later (I’m not sure though exactly where), and my dad and I will be sharing for the expenses. Though I plan to buy them a cake also for tomorrow (it’s a secret, by the way). I’m not sure, but my mom plans to watch a movie also tonight. I’ll be confirming it later..
My mom will be turning 46 tomorrow.. I hope my parents will have a great time later.
Just tell the details here next time. They’re here already. Ciao!

After four days of work (as of now, I’ll be on a daily schedule, Sunday to thursday, 8am-5pm, until June 20), I finally get a day break last Friday.
I woke up a little late than the usual, since I have no work that day. I did my usual daily routine - breakfast, clean my room, rest, take a bath, watch TV.. After my sisters and I ate lunch, I decided to burn the CDs I’ve been planning to work on. After burning the first one, I prepared the songs to be included in the second CD. I created the CD cover at the same time. As the second CD is being burned, I heard a popping noise at the back of the computer monitor. I was afraid it might explode or something, so I pulled the plug of the AVR, even if the CD is not yet finished. But the CD is still inserted in the CD-ROM so I pulled the monitor plug from the CPU (there might be another popping), and turned on the CPU again to get the CD out. I think the monitor is damaged.. So I told my mom and dad about it, I just promised to give my share to but new monitor.
My mom came from her meeting right before the popping of the monitor. She told us that we’re going to the mall in an hour. So we got dressed up and left an hour after. We just rode a bus up to St. Joseph in Anonas, and got down when we saw our van parked just outside a supermarket. Thinking my dad is just within the vicinity, we approached the van and hopped in. Good ting my mom has duplicate keys.. But after texting my dad, he said he just parked the van there and took thier company car and is currently in Caloocan, waaahhhh!!!! So we locked the van again and rode a jeep to get to the mall.
We arrived in SM Cubao and did our shopping. We spent about 3 hours in shopping. I bought myself a new bag and some office stuff, including a new Maui and Sons notebook for my Microsoft Training the next day. Feels like college again, buying stuff, hehe.. But it just so happened that I don’t have enough cash to pay for the things I bought. So I gave my mom the gift card I got from our company’s Christmas party, worth P1000. The things I bought are just worth P700, and the cashier told us that the gift card should be consumed. So my mom just used the gift card plus her credit card to pay for everyting we bought, and she just owed me P300.
My dad fetched us just in time for dinner and we all ate in Chowking at the foodcourt. Had a little chat and picture-taking while having our dinner. I was really full.. hehe. We headed to our van at the parking area and went home afterwards.
The next day, Saturday, I went to the office again for our Microsoft Training. Since I ran out of cash, I decided to withdraw money. When I checked, my salary is already in! I just got enough money for my lunch and allowance for the rest of the weekend. Just when I got into the elevator, I noticed that my wallet’s pouch is missing. Oh no! That’s a Girbaud pouch! So I retraced my steps and got back to the ATM machine. But it’s nowhere to be found. In just about five minutes, the pouch is gone..
I rode the elevator and headed to our floor and just waited for our training to start. Our instructor gave us a ring-binded manual each. This will serve as our reviewer and notes. We (together with my officemates) had our lunch at Kenny Rogers. Our instructor discussed three modules and we did lab exercises until 5pm. He said we’ll have the training until July. When the training is over, I got back to the ATM machine and withdraw some money again, which I will give to my mom, bought blank CDs for the songs I will burn, and went home.
I’ll be reporting to the office again from Sunday to Thursday. I miss the shifting schedule.. A few more days and I’ll be back, yey! hehe.. I’m looking forward to more time for shopping..

Only real men know how to treat the woman he loves. This is the sweetest thing in the world. Read, Learn, and Put into good use.
1. Tell her she is beautiful, not hot.
2 . Hold her hand at any moment even if it’s just for a second.
3 . Kiss her on the forehead.
4 . Leave her voice messages to wake up to.
5 . Always tell her how beautiful she is, no matter what she’s wearing.
6 . When she is upset, hold her tight and tell her how much she means to you.
7 . Recognize the small things . . . THEY USUALLY MEAN THE MOST!
8 . Call her baby.
9 . Sing to her no matter how horrible your voice is.
10 . Pick her over all the other girls you hang out with.
11 . Write her notes. [she loves them]
12 . Introduce her to family and friends as your girlfriend.
13 . Play with her hair.
14 . Pick her up, tickle her and play-wrestle with her.
15 . Sit in the park and just talk to her.
16 . Tell her funny jokes, tell her stupid jokes, just tell her jokes.
17 . Throw pebbles at her window in the middle of the night just because you missed her.
18 . Let her fall asleep in your arms.
19 . Carve your names into a tree.
20 . If she’s mad at you, apologize because SHE is always right. [girls are always right]
21 . CUDDLE.
22 . Bring her flowers just because.
23 . Treat her the same around your friends as you do when you’re alone.
24 . Look her in the eyes and smile. [so right!]
25 . Let her take as many pictures of you as she wants.
26 . Slow dance with her, even if there isn’t any music playing.
27 . Kiss her in the rain.
28 . If you’re in love with her . . . tell her. [if you're inlove with her!!!]

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar… and the coffee…
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, " I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else - the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. "Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.
"One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I’m glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
Please share this with someone you care about…

This song is my current fave. I’ve been trying to catch this over the radio, browsing through all the stations, hehe. It’s really good and you would want to listen to it over and over again..especially when you’re in a sentimental mood..;)
The Day You Said Goodnight
Hale
Take me as you are
Push me off the road
The sadness
I need this time to be with you
I’m freezing in the sun
I’m burning in the rain
The silence
I’m screaming, calling out your name
And I do reside in your light
Put out the fire with me and find
Yeah, you’ll lose the side of your circles
That’s what I’ll do if we say goodbye
To be is all I gotta be
And all that I see
And all that I need is time
To me the life you gave me
The day you said goodnight
The calmness in your face
That I see through the night
The warmth of your light is pressing unto us
You didn’t ask me why
I never would have known oblivion is falling down
And I do reside in your light
Put out the fire with me and find
Yeah, you’ll lose the side of your circles
That’s what I’ll do if we say goodbye
To be is all I gotta be
And all that I see
And all that I need is time
To me the life you gave me
The day you said goodnight
If you could only know me like your prayers at night
Then everything between you and me will be all right
To be is all I gotta be
And all that I see
And all that I need is time
To me the life you gave me
The day you said goodnight
She’s already taken
She’s already taken
She’s already taken me
She’s already taken
She’s already taken me…
The day you said goodnight…
