On June 15, 2005, another Batman movie is scheduled to be shown on cinemas, Batman Begins..
I came across "Batman Forever" on HBO earlier today. 
Just to refresh, this Batman movie stars Val Kilmer playing the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne, Chris O’ Donnell as Robin/Dick Grayson, and the villains are Jim Carrey as The Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. Wow, this movie has been released since 1995..

Yup, you read it right! After seven seasons of out fastest favorite reality show, The Amazing Race, the show goes family! In their eighth installment, instead of the usual couples per team with pre-existing relationship, now the contestants will be family members composed of four people, having an age of 12 years old and above. Details can be found on this link, or you can log on at CBS.com.
Wow, this will be exciting! I’m sure this will be tougher, more competitive, challenging and "dirty" than the past seasons. Can’t wait for this one!

During our outing in Subic last Sunday, we brought our digicam along. 
Unfortunately, the batteries are gonna run out already. So we took pictures using my sister’s cellphone at first. Then we used the digicam and hurriedly took pictures one after the other. The memory card has 25 pictures left to store, so we had limited pictures. Anyway, the pics are already uploaded in my photo album. Enjoy viewing!

A day after that Subic Outing with my family, and I’m so tired.. I barely slept. Coming from my shift, I tried to sleep in our van along the way. I think I was able to sleep but only for an hour or two. We arrived at the place at 10am, I think. Several groups came one by one, each parents in the families all members of the Marriage Encounter, where my parents are also members. We stayed on the van for an hour and waited while the rest of the group looks for a place to eat. We ended up eating inside the van, since there’s no place where we can all eat together.
After lunch, we started going by the poolside, my dad parked the van just outside the pool area. We started changing clothes into swimming attire. My sisters and I headed for the pool while the sun’s heat is not yet scorching. We swam and enjoyed ourselves for quite some time. As the people began to increase in number and the sun peeked from the clouds, my sisters and our dad sat under the shed. We just ate snacks, took some pictures and played with our cellphones. When my mom came from the hotel (she slept first after we had lunch), we finally decided to head for the hotel and take a shower one by one at about 3pm.
We just walked and tried to find the hotel and our room. My sister has the key to our room in her hand as we all picked up our bags from the van. The hotel’s is just a block away from where we are parked. We headed to the third floor and tried to find room 330. When we found it, we all lied down in the beds and turned on the TV. We took turns in using the shower, as the rest watched TV. An hour later, my mom and dad and our youngest sibling, Rica, entered the room and waited their turn in the shower.
After that nice shower, my two sisters, who were with me in the first batch, took a nap in the room. I woke up at 6pm already. We started eating dinner. We just spent the rest of the night watching TV. I checked and played with my cellphone once in a while.
At about 11pm, my sister and Jezzy were the only ones left awake, while my mom was still outside mingling with her colleagues. We watched the TV telecast of Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan’s "Bonez Tour" held here in the Philippines almost two months ago. My mom came two hours later, and we all get ready to sleep. I think that’s already 1am.
We woke up at 3am and started to bring down all our remaining bags. We slept in the van as my dad drove. We stopped over at a gasoline station, I forgot where and what time was that. I’m still too sleepy, I guess. My position in the van was not that comfortable. I bought a bottle of mineral water in the store and looked for coffee or chocolate drink in tetra pack, but here was none. My dad bough coffee to keep him awake. We continued to travel a few minutes later. I had a light sleep.
When I woke up, we’re already within QC area. We stopped over at Jollibee in Philcoa, but it ws almost 6am in the morning. The store opens at 7am. So we decided to eat in Tropical Hut instead near our neighborhood, which is open 24hours. I tried to take some more sleep along the way. When we arrived, we ordered out food and ate. We went home afterwards.
I unpacked some of my things when we got home. I fell asleep right away and woke up at lunch time. I ate lunch and watched TV for an hour and went back to bed afterwards. I really feel so sleepy so I slept despite the hot temperature in my room. I woke up at 4pm and went downstairs to watch the relay of The Contender, which I was not able to watch the week before. I got ready to go to work after the show, took a bath, ate a light dinner and get ready to work.
Tough and long day.. I’m so tired instead of being relaxed. I hope we could get a more decent vacation soon, but I think the whole thing is okay. Atleast I get to have some fun even for just a short time and was able to spend some time with my family..

It’s almost 1am as I write in this blog of mine, hehe. A few hours to go before me and my family hit the beach in Subic. At long last, I would be able to enjoy my summer..
I packed my bags already this afternoon before I proceed with my siesta. I assured that everything in my checklist is already there — bathing suit, slippers, clothes, personal hygiene stuff, towel.. what else did I forget? Hmn.. I think I already got what I needed. If ever I forgot something, we could drop by one of the convenience stores along the way.. Which reminds me, I think I already have enough money for emergency purposes.. I gave a thousand pesos to my mom earlier today to add to our budget (for gas, toll fees, food, etc.). I think we’re ready to go..:)
As planned, my family will pick me up later at 7am. I went to the office at 6pm, 2 hours earlier than my required schedule. I already filed for an offset, hopefully it will be approved by tomorrow, to make up for my 7-9am schedule. Right now, I’m a bit sleepy already.. I’d be sleeping along the way to Subic in a few hours. Okay, I better finish my tasks now. ‘Til next update..

It’s Thursday today. I’m looking forward to finally spending time with my family and enjoy the summer even just for a while.. I haven’t gone swimming yet so I’m really anticipating this out-of-town trip of ours..
It’s gonna be on Sunday. I’ll be coming from the office. According to the plan, my family will fetch me in Libis at 7am. I’ll just be filing for an offset so I could get off 2 hours earlier (my shift ends at 9am). Then I could get some sleep on the way until we get to Subic. We’ll be travelling with a group (along with my parents’ friends from their Marriage Encounter fellowship-like organization). It will be an overnight get-together and swimming.
Hmn.. I can’t wait! Finally, I’ll be able to enjoy myself and get away from the busy life at work even for just a while..

10 Mistakes God Does Not Want You to Make

If God could stop us from doing things, what would they be? Obviously there are more than 10 mistakes that we can make or have made in our life, , these are mistakes we all fall into.
1. Putting God in a box
Many people today, especially teens, make God into something that they want Him to be. We begin to tell God how and what He can and can’t do in our life. Before we know it, we’ve made God into exactly what we feel comfortable with. God doesn’t want us to be comfortable, He wants free reign to work miracles and wonders through us-no matter how uncomfortable that makes you. Don’t limit God, let Him out of the box and allow Him to take over your life.
2. Holding on to grudges and not forgiving
All us have been hurt. What we do with that hurt can either lead us closer to God or further from Him. For some reason we find comfort not forgiving and holding grudges. Those very grudges build a wall between you and God. When we hold on to those things we tell God that He can’t be in control over our feelings and our emotions. Let God take your pain, your unforgiveness and your grudges and He will give you comfort and the ability to forgive.
3. Seeking false intimacy
Many people think that intimacy = touch. It doesn’t: intimacy has nothing to do with touching. We all crave intimacy and the opportunity to be in intimate relationships with people. However, most times we seek that intimacy by fooling around or having sex. But, God wants us to have intimate healthy relationships. He doesn’t want us to destroy our hearts and our souls by seeking intimacy in false ways, ways that will not lead us closer to Him. God put those longings for intimacy inside of us to draw us closer and more intimate with Him.
4. Believing that you are ! in control of your life
It’s all about control. If we have control over everything in our life (our future, our present, what we want to do etc….) then we think for some reason that everything will work out. All of the Saints I read about had no control over their life. They finally gave God the complete ability to take control. We are no different. Your life could become more smooth, peaceful, and better than anything we could ever plan or do on our own. Just let go and let God!
5. Refusing to change
This is dangerous. People who are unwilling to change are the people who end up being the saddest people of all. Change is good, not bad. God is all about change. He is all about changing us and shaping us into the person He wants us to be. If we develop the mindset that we can’t or shouldn’t change then we’ve put ourselves in a place that will only lead us away from God. Be open, don’t allow yourself to stay in one place in your faith.
6. Taking life too seriously
Yeah that’s right. Have fun. Laugh! One of the mistakes that we can make is too take life so seriously that we forget to LIVE. God didn’t create us to be miserable. Yeah, there are going to be times that we all have pain, but pain doesn’t last forever. For some reason many people even think that Christians can’t and shouldn’t have fun. Hello, I don’t know about you, but I serve a God who knows what life is all about. He knows the joy of living. Don’t take life so seriously, have fun and enjoy the LIFE that God has blessed you with.
7. Living for today, without eternity in mind
Many teens make decisions without thinking about their future. Too often, immediate pleasure and satisfaction is the driving force to do something. What people don’t realize is that one decision can have lifelong consequences-even eternal consequences. If teens made decisions with Heaven in mind, then their decisions would be different. With ev! ery decision, always keep your eternal future in mind, and you will be at peace. Heaven-don’t miss it for the world.
8. Keeping Catholicism a religion and not a reality
Whoa!!! Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that Catholicism is not a religion or shouldn’t be a religion. It is a great religion. One that’s been around for over 2000 years. Jesus established the Catholic Church. HoSwever, many people separate the obligation of being a Catholic and the calling to live as a Catholic. Being Catholic won’t get you to Heaven. Living as a Catholic is the true calling that God has for us. God calls us to be fully Catholic to follow Him and His Church with everything that we have. If being Catholic is just a title, then we have done a disservice to God and the Catholic Church. Make Catholicism a living reality in you life.
9. Denying that evil exists
Let’s be honest. No one really talks about Satan anymore. It’s almost like that we pretend he doesn’t exist, and then he doesn’t. This is such a lie. The spiritual world is all around us: the good and the bad. Satan is very alive and present, always tempting us to destroy our very lives, but in ways we refuse to see. Satan takes God’s truths and turns them into lies, and takes lies and turns them into truths. We can’t buy into the lies. We shouldn’t give Satan credit or attention, only be aware that he is real and wants to destroy our soul.
10. Believing that God can fix any mistake
Let’s not mistake forgiveness with God fix’n something. God will forgive us for anything we’ve done if we truly ask Him. However, He can’t stop the consequences of our decision from taking place. It’s like gravity. We can pray that gravity won’t happen, but the reality is that gravity takes place no matter what we think. The same goes with our choices. The consequences take place whether we want them too or not. We can think that God will fix all of our mistakes that we make but He can’t. He can forgive us and He can make good things come out of our bad choices. God is good, but we have to do our part too.

There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of papercranes as a gift to his girl. Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn’t seemed too bright, they were very happy together.
Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualise any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then…
Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regain his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.
Finally with all these hardwork and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company … You never fail until you stop trying.
One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn’t take him long to realise those were his girl’s parents.
With a heart in getting back at them, he drived slowly beside the couple,wanting them to spot him in his luxury Sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn’t the same anymore, he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it!
Before the guy can realise, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and he got out of his car and followed… and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his papercranes beside her…
Her parents saw him. He ask them why had this happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle… therefore she had chosen to leave him.
Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.
She had wanted her parents to put his papercranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again…he can take some of those back with him…
Once you have loved, you will always love. For what’s in your mind may escape but what’s in your heart will remain forever.
The guy just wept…
The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can’t have them …
Find time to realize that there is one person who mean so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.
